{"id":2520,"date":"2017-12-06T04:51:20","date_gmt":"2017-12-06T09:51:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.oviahealth.com\/guide\/2520\/almond-butter-granola\/"},"modified":"2022-11-30T23:44:11","modified_gmt":"2022-12-01T04:44:11","slug":"almond-butter-granola","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.oviahealth.com\/guide\/2520\/almond-butter-granola\/","title":{"rendered":"Fertility recipes: almond butter granola"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This almond butter granola is an excellent way to get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oviahealth.com\/guide\/10082\/protein-during-pregnancy\/\">lean protein<\/a> in a tasty package, and the fiber in granola will do wonders towards helping your digestive system stay regular.<\/p>\n<h2>Almond butter granola recipe that makes a sweet breakfast or dessert<\/h2>\n<p>Yields: 3-4 cups<\/p>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon ground ginger<\/li>\n<li>1\/8 teaspoon fine sea salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup raw creamy almond butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/3 cup pure maple syrup<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon pure vanilla<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Lightly coat a large rimmed baking sheet (15- x 10-inch) with cooking spray or oil.<\/li>\n<li>Place oats, cinnamon, ginger and salt in a large bowl; stir to mix.<\/li>\n<li>In a small saucepan combine almond butter and maple syrup. Heat and stir mixture over medium-low heat until the almond butter is melted and well mixed with the maple syrup. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.<\/li>\n<li>Add almond butter mixture to oat mixture; stir well to combine. Spread mixture in prepared baking sheet. Bake 30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes. Bake 10 to 20 minutes more or until toasted, stirring every 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Let cool completely.
