As unappealing as it may sound, it\u2019s important to check it out because cloudiness or a change in smell could be a sign of infection. More often, however, it is simply the combination of vaginal secretions that eliminate harmful bacteria around your cervix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What causes it?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Benign cloudiness is attributed to secretions and totally harmless, especially if you only see it for one day without other symptoms. Variations in urine are mostly due to hormonal or dietary changes, especially if you are eating lots of dairy or big meals at night. If cloudiness is combined with a strong odor, it could be a sign of Urinary Tract Infection or Proteinuria, which occurs when your urine passes too much protein during pregnancy. Changes in urine, including a burning or itching sensation, could also be a sign of sexually transmitted disease, so talk to your healthcare provider immediately if you think this is the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tips?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If your urine looks funky for more than a day or two, something may be amiss. UTIs are treatable but if left alone can be very dangerous. Your dietary changes from food cravings or aversions could be the culprit of cloudy urine, so you might want to figure out a nutrition plan that works better for you. In general, however, occasional cloudy urine shouldn\u2019t be your biggest concern since your body is probably just eliminating more waste to keep safe!
